I'd rather be in the African Sun,
Watching and listening to
nature as it is supposed to be,
I'd rather be on a Caribbean
beach,
Listening to the waves washing the shore as God intended
it to be,
I'd rather be sailing on the deep blue sea,
And
eating fresh salt water fish by the firelight,
Oh, why, why, why
is the grass greener on the other side?
I'd rather be at home with my wife and kids,
Than be stuck
here doing this boring work,
I'd rather be at the North Pole
exploring,
Discovering new life and watching the midnight
sun.
I'd rather be in the thickest forests,
Away from the
maddening crowd and the senseless way of living,
Oh, why, why,
why is the grass greener on the other side?
