You might be wondering why this watchful eye on Zimbabwe and none on the USA. Not quite sure why but the USA elections has not gripped my imagination at all even when it appears it will make history - well at least USA history.

Funny enough I do not expect much to change and I suspect many optimistic people are likely to be disappointed. Personally, I do believe that if in fact Obama is elected, his term is going to be dominated by those people who believe they know better than the electorate, looking for a way to remove him. He is likely to be dominated by home politics at least in the short to medium term. I will be happy to be proved wrong.
